As you continue trekking ahead from Badal Danda to High Camp, the treeline begins to thin. Leaving the High Camp early in the morning trek, following a rugged, steep route. You will walk on grassy terrain and ascend to the base camp of Mardi Himal. You may come across dzokpo (a crossbreed of yak and cow) and danphe while trekking. After around three hours of walking uphill, the Mardi Himal Base Camp arrives. Here, you will see an outstanding mountain panorama unfolded before your eyes. Enjoy the views and later retrace the same trail back to Badal Danda to spend the night. From Low Camp onwards, the trail diverts to Siding Village. You will descend via lush forests, crossing a few bridges and streams on the way. Trek distance: 204 km/126 miles Altitude: 1,400 m/4,600 ft Accommodation: Hotel Meals: Breakfast, lunch & farewell dinner On this day, you will travel back to Kathmandu. The ride will be comfortable and scenic, like the last time. Enjoy views of rolling hills, terraces, rivers, and waterfalls during the ride. The guide will drop you at the hotel upon reaching Kathmandu. The remaining day is free. Unpack and rest. Later, enjoy window shopping in Thamel.
