The Manaslu Circuit Trek costs $1,300 per person in 2026 — all-inclusive, 15 days, crossing the Larkya La Pass at 5,106 m. The price covers your permits, a licensed guide and the full trek. Manaslu Permits: RAP Seasons and Costs
Manaslu is a restricted area, so three permits are required: the Restricted Area Permit (RAP), the Manaslu Conservation Area Permit (MCAP) and the Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP). A registered agency books them for you, and once issued they are non-refundable. The RAP is a seasonal permit — its fee is set by season, and it is higher in the peak spring and autumn seasons than in other months. In our all-inclusive price the permits are covered either way, so you never pay a separate permit fee.
The Minimum-2 Rule and the 2026 Change
Our Manaslu departures need a minimum of 2 trekkers, and group size runs from 2 to 20. Under the 2026 rule update, you no longer have to arrive with a group — a solo traveller can book and be grouped with others. What has not changed: you must trek with a licensed guide booked through a registered agency. Trekking Manaslu unguided is legally impossible — the restricted-area rules require it.
Joining a Group Solo
Solo travellers join one of our Manaslu groups. Manaslu has no fixed published departure dates — groups form on request, so ask us for the next group date. The trek starts and ends in Kathmandu, runs 15 days at Moderate grade, and is best in spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November). You will pass through Jagat, Namrung, Sama Gaon and Samdo, take an acclimatisation hike to Manaslu Base Camp, and cross the Larkya La Pass (5,106 m) on Day 11.
