The tour provided so much of Nepal in... read more my first trip to the country. I hiked for 4 1/2 days in the Annapurna area culminating at Poon Hill. We also white water rafted, spent 2 days each in Kathmandu and Pokhara with tours in each. A 2 day trip to Chitawan National Park where we had a full itinerary. Including a safari where I saw 2 Bengal tigers, rhinoceros, elephant, deers and other in the wild.
The accomodations were varied from luxury resorts to Tea houses on the trek, and 3-4* inns by US standards.
Saran was incredibly helpful during the entire process. He promptly answered emails prior to the trek. He personally picked me up at the airport, and we saw him when we were in Kathmandu. He was so attentive I felt like we were his only clients. Our guide Nilan was with us throughout the trip. He also was wonderful
Overall this trip exceeded my expectations in every way. I would recommend using Nepal Trek and Tours .

  NEPAL 2024 - Amazing  - From the moment we booked until the moment we arrived back at home, NEPAL Treks and Tours made our trip extra special. It is clear that Saran (Managing Director) and... read more his team aim to please. Every question we had was answered quickly. Every request we had was accommodated. And even our own goof-ups were managed with a high degree of customer service.
Our itinerary included a day long walking tour of Kathmandu with Santosh - an expert guide who educated us on the temples, practices, places and customs. Then we ventured off for a 4.5 day trek in the Annapurna Conservation Area. Our stay in tea houses was all new and we were prepared. Nilan, our expert guide, and Bhoj, our porter, ensured our safety and inspired us when going up and up and up some more. To hike up to Poonhill at 4:30am to see a stunning sunrise (and a coffee kiosk lol) was a highlight. So were the tea houses that had a central heating wood-burning stove. This is where we met locals and so many international people.Adjusting to the food choices was easy and despite the menus being the same the food prep was not. Every day we learned from our guide and from the experiences we were having. These memories are already dear. We completed our journey with time in Pokhara (great shopping and cultural activities) and Chitwan National Park. We saw the Bengal tigers! Our local guide, Mahendra, was so knowledgeable.
